Denise Beeson
is an experienced small business
relationship manager with senior level
expertise in business development worldwide,
including marketing, licensing, and
assisting companies acquire funding. She has
assisted companies in a wide range of
industries prepare their business plans,
marketing strategies, and presentations to
the investor community.
Ms. Beeson has
a degree from Whittier College, a Masters
from San Francisco State, and a Licensing
Certificate in Intellectual Property
Licensing from the Licensing Executive
Society in conjunction with Harvard Business
School.
Ms. Beeson has
been an adjunct instructor in the Small
Business Management and Marketing
Departments at SRJC for over 20 years.
Classes routinely offered include:
Procedures to Start a Business, How to Write
a Business Plan, Small Business Promotion,
Advertising and Sales, Retail Marketing, New
Product Development, and International
Marketing. She also has been an invited
guest lecturer at Sonoma State University in
the International Marketing and Wine
Business Programs. She is also a
contributing author to "Masters in Sales",
authored by Ivan Misner & Dan Morgan. Read her chapter on "Handling Objections".
Ms. Beeson is
a frequently invited guest lecturer and has
spoken to audiences worldwide. Some of the
topics include: Technology
Commercialization, Marketing, Promotion,
Commercial Lending and Networking. She has
spoken on Technology Commercialization at
the WESCON SEMI Conductor Associations,
Society for Vacuum Coaters, and the
Knowledge Forum; and, on Marketing at the
City of Windsor, North Bay Entrepreneur’s
Association, North Coast Builder’s Exchange,
and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
She is
involved in her community. She has started
her
blog about the Wine Country
about Sonomsa County and the events she
attends. Ms. Beeson is a
member in good standing in the following
organizations: North Coast Builder’s
Exchange, Sonoma County Bar Association (SCBA),
Redwood Empire Mortgage Lenders Association
(REMLA),
Business Network International
(BNI) and the Santa Rosa Chamber of
Commerce-Ambassador Economic Vitality Committee, and Women’s
Council of Realtors (WCR).
